In the wharf photo Norman took the picture and Ann took his place.  This was a smaller group than normal, which was a pity because it was a lovely day and a varied walk.

WALKING TO ACTIVATE THE MIND  GROUP

We had a great walk starting off through Le Roy's bush, down to Little Shoal Bay along to Birkenhead Wharf, then a steep climb to gain the ridge to walk back to a cafe for a drink.  The people in the bush photo are Norman, Sylvia, Manjula, Tina (Group Leader) and Pat.

Everyone may have a different reason on why they are in this relaxed walking group.  Ann ‘s response. “I joined the group because being a woman I am hesitant for security reasons to go by myself to explore the many lovely areas of bush and walkways that we have on the North Shore. I walk in company with people with active minds, a positive attitude to life and an interest in the world around them.”
