Organisation

• U3A is run by a committee, elected yearly, and a team of Convenors – one for each study group and elected by that group.

• Committee membership is for a maximum of four years while convenors preferably roll over every year.

• Members’ obligations:
• All members are expected to take a small part in the organisation (committee, ex-officio or conveners) of U3A Browns Bay at some stage.
• To join and actively participate in one or more special interest groups.
• To attend his/her special interest group/s regularly and phone apologies to convenors when unable to attend.
• To pay the annual subscription promptly
