Welcome to U3A Browns Bay

Are you in need of mental stimulation and want to have fun and keep the grey matter working?

Then U3A Browns Bay could be for you.

The qualifications required are, a desire for learning

and the will to contribute.

Each member makes a contribution in keeping with

their particular skills, ability and knowledge.

There are NO exams.

U3A shall consist of a body of persons who undertake

to learn and help others to learn.

Those who teach shall also learn and

those who learn shall also teach.

The Central point of Browns Bay is the Pohutakawa Tree, embraced on each side by two Phoenix Palms and Twelve Norfolk Pines.

Browns Bay Mall but some call it Phoenix Plaza. Four Phoenix Palms define this area connecting the shops on Inverness and Clyde Roads to Beachfront Lane.

Browns Bay (main shopping) street Clyde Road. In this area there are often musicians and entertainment on the stage which is set between the Phoenix Palms

U3A Browns Bay Inc North Shore members come from Okura and Albany in the North to Takapuna and Devonport in the South.

While Browns Bay scenes are featured on this web site, we recognise that many of our members come from other beautiful locations on the North Shore. We hope to feature some of these in the future
